Gordo is a perfect 3-0 against Holy Spirit Catholic since August of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Green Wave will challenge the Saints at 5:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Gordo didn't have quite enough to beat Hubbertville and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Holy Spirit Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Pickens County on Thursday.

Gordo now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Holy Spirit Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-16 record this season.

Gordo took their win against Holy Spirit Catholic in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Green Wave since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
