Volleyball Recap: Rebekah Rasmussen's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Plum Creek Christian Academy over Varsity Opponent

Plum Creek Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Varsity Opponent. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Varsity Opponent this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 12-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Plum Creek Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Rebekah Rasmussen, who had eight digs, five kills, and four blocks. She has been hot, having posted three or more blocks the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Areli Contreras, who had nine digs.

Plum Creek Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
