Prairie View is 7-1 against Westminster since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Thunderhawks will head out to challenge the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. Prairie View will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Prairie View was able to grind out a solid victory over Riverdale Ridge, taking the game 6-2.

Favi Gaeta made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jerry Stone was incredible, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Eddie Cortez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Westminster ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Northglenn 5-4. The five-run effort marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Andrew Townsend tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Adrian Moreno, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Michael Alcantor was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.
