Baseball Recap: Monrovia Comes Up Short

Monrovia suffered their closest defeat since February 28th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the San Marino Titans by a score of 3-1. The Wildcats have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Monrovia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Huelster, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Monrovia's loss dropped their record down to 15-5-1. As for San Marino, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

While Monrovia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
