Basketball Game Preview: North Fort Myers Red Knights vs. Cape Coral Seahawks

North Fort Myers hasn't had much luck against Cape Coral recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The North Fort Myers Red Knights will take on the Cape Coral Seahawks in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. North Fort Myers is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Last Tuesday, it was close, but North Fort Myers ultimately received the gift of a 61-59 win from a begrudging Red Knights squad.

Meanwhile, Cape Coral beat South Fort Myers 52-42 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Seahawks.

Cape Coral's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for North Fort Myers, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

North Fort Myers came up short against Cape Coral in their previous meeting back in January, falling 66-58. Thankfully for North Fort Myers, Joseph Silva (who went 5 for 9 on his way to 16 points in addition to four blocks and three steals) won't be suiting up this time.
