It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Reeves ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Plainview Hornets. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Reeves' win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Plainview, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reeves will face off against Lake Arthur at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Plainview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Beauregard at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
