Volleyball Game Preview: Sahuaro Cougars vs. Mica Mountain Thunderbolts

Sahuaro hasn't had much luck against Mica Mountain recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cougars will challenge the Thunderbolts at 5:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Sahuaro came up short against Ironwood Ridge and fell 3-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Mica Mountain waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Titans.

One reason for the win was Mica Mountain's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-13.

Mica Mountain's win bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Sahuaro, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Sahuaro suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Mica Mountain in their previous meeting last Tuesday. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
