Football Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Manchester's offense. They were beaten by the Upson-Lee Knights 27-0 on Friday. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Upson-Lee, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Manchester and Upson-Lee will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Blue Devils see the field they'll take on Macon County at 7:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Upson-Lee, their break will end when they face Spalding at 7:30 p.m. on September 5.
