Kamiakin had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mead Panthers by a score of 7-2. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Kamiakin pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Mead, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's still a better percentage than their 4-17 record this season.
