Softball Recap: Lake Weir Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lake Weir's offense. They came up short against The Villages Charter Buffalo on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Hurricanes in their meetings with the Buffalo: they've now lost six in a row.

Lake Weir saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Beth Levy, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Lake Weir's record now sits at 1-16. As for The Villages Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Lake Weir will challenge North Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Villages Charter, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Foundation Academy at 6:00 p.m.
