Baseball Recap: Sandusky Comes Up Short

Sandusky was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Norwalk Truckers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Truckers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on April 8th.

Sandusky's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Norwalk, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Sandusky will host Lorain at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Titans have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Norwalk, they are taking a road trip to face off against Clyde at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
