Soccer Recap: Castle Park Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Castle Park was not quite Southwest SD's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to the Raiders. Castle Park haven't had much luck with Southwest SD recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Castle Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-2. As for Southwest SD, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Castle Park is taking a road trip to face off against Mater Dei Catholic at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Castle Park will need to watch out since Mater Dei Catholic have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups. As for Southwest SD, they will take on Escondido Charter in a tournament on Friday.
