Recap: Bishop Fenwick Falcons vs. Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles
The Bishop Fenwick Falcons had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 55-46 win over Chaminade Julienne Catholic. This was payback for Bishop Fenwick, who suffered a 55-41 loss the last time these two teams met.
Bailey Temming was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carrson Sova, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
Bishop Fenwick has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.
Bishop Fenwick will be playing at home against Archbishop McNicholas at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Wyoming at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wyoming is coming into the matchup with nine straight victories at home, so Chaminade Julienne Catholic is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
