Basketball Recap: Ridgefield Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hudson's Bay last Tuesday, Ridgefield came back down to earth. The Ridgefield Spudders were dealt a 70-43 defeat at the hands of the Woodland Beavers on Thursday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spudders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-44 back in December of 2024.

The loss snapped Ridgefield's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-9 record. As for Woodland, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

When Ridgefield and Woodland next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Ridgefield will try to stop Columbia River's 12-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Woodland will take on Mark Morris and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
