Soccer Recap: Towers Has No Trouble Against Putnam County

Towers won the last time they faced Putnam County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Towers Titans blew past the Putnam County War Eagles 4-0. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by four goals or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Towers and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Putnam County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Towers will take on Jasper County at 5:30 p.m. on March 27th. As for Putnam County, they will venture away from home to square off against Social Circle at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Social Circle will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Putnam County surely won't give up without a fight.
