Parker Bushyhead put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Monday. He struck out five batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Even though Bushyhead couldn't lead St. Michael the Archangel over Summit Christian Academy, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Bushyhead's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Guardians' ten-game streak of wins at home.
