Mount Vernon is a perfect 9-0 against Justice since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Majors will venture away from home to challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Mount Vernon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Justice likes a good challenge.

Mount Vernon gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They blew past Edison 37-9. The Majors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Justice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 28-21 to Annandale. Wolves fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Atoms since Friday.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Justice, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Mount Vernon against Justice in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 40-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Majors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
