Volleyball Recap: Broadwater Academy's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Broadwater Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Portsmouth Christian Patriots. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Broadwater Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-13.

Tatum Watson paced Broadwater Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Watson got some help from Rylee Hall and her seven assists. Hall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Broadwater Academy's record is now 3-1. As for Portsmouth Christian, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Broadwater Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hampton Christian Academy on the 5th. As for Portsmouth Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against StoneBridge on the 5th.
