Volleyball Recap: Moriarty Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Moriarty lost against Taos back in October and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pintos lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Pintos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Moriarty was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Taos' winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14, 26-24.

Lilly Shoemate-Means paced Moriarty's offense, picking up seven kills. Shoemate-Means got some help from Lily Shelby and her 11 assists. Kristina Means controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Moriarty's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Taos, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

As of now, neither Moriarty nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
