Volleyball Recap: Walker Takes a Loss

Walker came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the University Lab Cubs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-13.

Reese Blue paced Walker's offense, picking up seven kills. Blue got some help from Ava Scroggins and her 12 assists.

Walker's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for University Lab, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Coming up, Walker will host West Feliciana at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for University Lab, they will venture away from home to challenge St. Michael at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
