Volleyball Recap: Bolivar Central Tigers vs. Lakeland Preparatory Lions
It was a proper cat-fight when Bolivar Central duked it out with Lakeland Preparatory on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-9.
Lakeland Preparatory's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Avery Spencer, who had 14 digs and five aces. Those 14 digs gave Spencer a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Burd, who had 18 digs and four aces.
