Richland strolled into their game  on Thursday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Southridge Suns as they made off with  a  12-1 victory. The Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by seven  runs or more this season.
 Sophia Sams was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and two  doubles. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Payton Chacon, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Richland  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Richland's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Southridge, their defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 9-5.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Richland beat the Suns by a score of  13-8 later that day.
