Volleyball Recap: Ballard Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Ballard was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Rainier Beach last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Beavers lost 3-0 to the Roosevelt Roughriders on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Beavers in their meetings with the Roughriders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Ballard's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Roosevelt, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Ballard and Roosevelt should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Beavers (ranked 125th) will meet Sammamish (ranked 303rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt will take on Seattle Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (57 vs. 261).
