Softball Game Preview: Dover Crimson Tornadoes vs. Madison Comprehensive Rams

For the second straight game, Dover will face off against Madison Comprehensive. The Crimson Tornadoes will challenge the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dover will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Dover beat Madison Comprehensive 5-1.

Jenna Molk was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

In other pitching news, Kara Lint looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Olivia McCue, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Alli Hupp, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Dover pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Madison Comprehensive, their loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3.
