Volleyball Recap: Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans vs. Elmwood Trojans
Bushnell-Prairie City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 40th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Elmwood Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11.
Bushnell-Prairie City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Elmwood, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bushnell-Prairie City's road trip will continue as they head out to face Macomb at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Macomb will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Bushnell-Prairie City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Elmwood, they will challenge Knoxville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
