Football Recap: Somerset Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Somerset played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Richland Rams, falling 61-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost six in a row.

Colt Hagans threw for 100 yards on six of 11 attempts. Caden Stephens was his top target, picking up 85 receiving yards.

A big part of Richland's victory came down to the chemistry between Jacob Regan and his top target Jamere Christian. Regan threw for 272 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes while Christian gained 136 total yards and four touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Christian a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (three). Brayden Knepper was another key player, rushing for 53 yards and one TD on only five carries.

Somerset's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Richland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
