The North Gwinnett Bulldogs and the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Gwinnett picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 53-46 win over Commerce. That looming 53-46 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monroe Area). They breezed by Stephens County to the tune of 79-49 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Purple Hurricanes have posted since January 6th.

Monroe Area has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for North Gwinnett, their record now sits at 3-9.
