Burns came up big in Lee-Scott Academy's 7-0 win
Lee-Scott Academy was led to victory by JD Burns, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Lakeside School had no answer to Burns as he scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3.
Burns' strong effort led Lee-Scott Academy over Lakeside School and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lee-Scott Academy is 6-1 against Lakeside School going back to March of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
