Volleyball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

Quitman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Como-Pickton Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

Quitman's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Como-Pickton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quitman will host Harts Bluff at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Como-Pickton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Commerce at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
