Westtown has gone 7-1 against George School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Westtown will take on the George School Cougars.

Westtown is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Frances Academy just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 66-52 bruising from the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Westtown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 57th in Pennsylvania, while St. Frances Academy is ranked fourth in Maryland).

Meanwhile, George School entered their tilt with Academy of the New Church on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They managed a 78-72 win over the Lions. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly six points.

George School has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Westtown, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Westtown was taken down by George School 70-39 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Westtown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
