Softball Recap: Walhalla Takes a Loss

If Walhalla was feeling good fresh off their 30-0 takedown of Carolina Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Razorbacks fell 11-7 to the Crescent Tigers on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Razorbacks in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Mara Chappell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That run marked the first that she has scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliza AJ Doherty, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.

Walhalla's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Crescent, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

As of now, neither Walhalla nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
