Basketball Recap: White Oak Takes a Loss

White Oak was the 59-35 winner over Troup when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the White Oak Roughnecks and the Troup Tigers didn't end well, with the White Oak Roughnecks falling 45-30. The Roughnecks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

White Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Troup, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

White Oak will square off against Tatum at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Tatum knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully White Oak likes a good challenge. As for Troup, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Troup Tigers duke it out with the Sabine Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
