Basketball Recap: New Creation Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Varsity Opponent on Saturday, New Creation Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Crusaders were dealt a 47-19 loss at the hands of the Bible Baptist Christian Eagles on Monday. The Crusaders have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

New Creation Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nevaeh Barry, who posted two points in addition to 18 rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Hunt, who had nine points.

New Creation Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Creation Christian Academy will welcome Konos Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Victory Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th.
