Volleyball Game Preview: Claymont Mustangs vs. Tuscarawas Valley Trojans

Claymont hasn't had much luck against Tuscarawas Valley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home court against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Claymont came up short against Ridgewood and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-12, 21-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Tuscarawas Valley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 25-13.

The victory got Tuscarawas Valley back to even at 9-9. As for Claymont, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Claymont was able to grind out a solid win over Tuscarawas Valley in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
