Burlingame has gone 9-0-1 against Sequoia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Burlingame Panthers will welcome the Sequoia Ravens at 4:00 p.m.

Sequoia will have to contend with a Burlingame team hungry for a victory, something the squad hasn't seen since December 14. Burlingame and South San Francisco finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Sequoia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Aragon. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 779th, while the Dons are ranked 281st).

Burlingame's draw gives them a new season record of 2-7-2. As for Sequoia, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Everything went Burlingame's way against Sequoia in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Burlingame made off with a 3-0 win. Will Burlingame repeat their success, or does Sequoia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
