Baseball Recap: Richton Falls Short of Lake in the Playoffs

Richton and Lake squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Richton had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 18-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost five in a row.

Richton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Cochran, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Richton's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Lake, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-5.

As of now, neither Richton nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
