Football Recap: Lincoln Skates Past Woodland with Ease + How To Watch

Lincoln won the last time they faced Woodland and things went their way on Friday too. The Fighting Zebras really took it to the Wolves for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-12 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Fighting Zebras just coasted through the last quarter.

Eli Duff went supernova, throwing for 184 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024. Mason Volzer was another key player, picking up 64 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Lincoln proved: they limited Woodland to a paltry 1.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Diego Cuevas for the heroic effort on defense: he. Lincoln didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.9.

Woodland's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abarca, who threw for 218 yards and two touchdowns.

Lincoln has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 46.5 points this season. As for Woodland, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.
