Basketball Recap: Glenelg Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Glenelg's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Oakland Mills Scorpions by a score of 50-40. The Gladiators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scorpions, too.

Glenelg's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Oakland Mills, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Glenelg will square off against Howard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Howard knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Glenelg likes a good challenge. As for Oakland Mills, they will head out on the road to challenge Marriotts Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Marriotts Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.2 points per game this season.
