Baseball Recap: Oviedo Comes Up Short

Oviedo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 12-6 to the Bishop Moore Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 10-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Oviedo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bodie Tierney, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Oviedo's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Bishop Moore, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-5.

Coming up, Oviedo will host Seminole at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Moore, they will venture away from home to challenge Timber Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
