Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Milpitas walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Selma Bears 3-2 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on four straight.

Guillermo Munguia Ruiz and Jason Aguiar scored all three of Milpitas' goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Milpitas' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three games. As for Selma, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10.

Looking ahead, Milpitas will square off against Gonzales at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gonzales will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Milpitas surely won't give up without a fight. Selma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
