Basketball Recap: Park City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Roundup two weeks ago, Park City came back down to earth. The Park City Panthers fell to the Red Lodge Rams 56-50. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Red Lodge got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alyssa Emineth out in front who posted eight points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Reimer, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Park City's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Red Lodge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

The future could be bright for both Park City and Red Lodge: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Park City will try to hand Absarokee their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Red Lodge will try to hand Joliet their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
