Soccer Game Preview: West Brunswick vs. New Hanover + Official Tickets

West Brunswick is 0-10 against New Hanover since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Trojans will welcome the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, West Brunswick needed a bit of extra time to put away North Brunswick. Their defense stepped up to hand the Scorpions a 1-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for West Brunswick as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Jeremy Tapia, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, New Hanover faced Hoggard in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Vikings. The loss continues a trend for New Hanover in their meetings with Hoggard: they've now lost eight in a row.

The win got West Brunswick back to even at 8-8. As for New Hanover, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-1.
