Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Overhills). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Westover Wolverines a 25-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Jaguars as they're now sitting on five straight.

Jordan Frink was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, eight RBI, and four runs while going 2-for-4. Those home runs marked the first that he launched this season.

In other batting news, Overhills got a massive performance out of Kolt Berry, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs Berry has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Houston Poole, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Overhills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matches.

Overhills' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Westover, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Overhills will welcome Scotland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westover, they will head out to challenge the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
