Softball Recap: San Gabriel Takes a Loss

San Gabriel lost against Alhambra back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Matadors came up short against the Moors, falling 16-2. The Matadors' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

San Gabriel's record is now 3-9. As for Alhambra, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-11 record.

San Gabriel and Alhambra could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Matadors will face off against Schurr at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (986 vs. 149). Meanwhile, Alhambra (ranked 925th) will meet Mark Keppel (ranked 327th) at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
