Baseball Game Preview: Schulenburg Shorthorns vs. Randolph Ro-Hawks

The Schulenburg Shorthorns will venture away from home to face off against the Randolph Ro-Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Schulenburg has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Schulenburg managed to slip by Shiner the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Shorthorns lost 11-1 to the Comanches two weeks ago. The Shorthorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Randolph couldn't beat Jourdanton on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Ro-Hawks came up short against the Indians/Squaws, falling 15-5.

Schulenburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Randolph, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9.
