Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Spartans vs. El Reno Indians

Southeast is 0-3 against El Reno since January of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Southeast Spartans will challenge the El Reno Indians at 6:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Southeast took a blow against Elgin, falling 67-23.

Meanwhile, El Reno didn't have too much trouble with Guymon on Friday as they won 32-16. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Tigers are ranked 206th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

El Reno's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Southeast, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Southeast took a serious blow against El Reno in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 74-19. Can Southeast avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
