James Wood put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. They never let the Warren County Wildcats get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Colonels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.

James Wood has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Warren County, their loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

James Wood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warren County, they will welcome Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
