Delta has gone 7-1 against South Sevier recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. After each having a week off,  the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 4:00  p.m. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  game.
Delta is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 42  points  on October 10th, they were much more limited against Emery  last Friday. They and the Spartans were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered  a  7-6 defeat. The Rabbits haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the  loss, Delta got top-tier performance from   Jett Rawlinson, who rushed for 265 yards and one  score while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Rawlinson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards.
 Delta didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Rawlinson,  Korver Pace,  Bronx Hunt,  and  McCrae Wade picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Emery's side was  Carter Anderson, who picked up  a  sack and made 13 total tackles.
Meanwhile, South Sevier suffered their biggest  defeat since September 20, 2024 last Friday. They were beaten by San Juan 66-21. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Rams' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.
 Although South Sevier took the loss, they still got scores from  Cooper Castle,  Hudson Smith,  and  Grady Heaps.
 Delta's record is now 2-7. As for South Sevier, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 9-1.
Friday's   matchup might be decided on the ground. Delta has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 213.7  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like South Sevier struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 233.1  rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's   contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
 Delta was dealt a bruising  69-27 defeat at the hands of South Sevier when the teams last played  back in September. Can the Rabbits avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
