Adena won the last time they faced Paint Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 8-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Adelynn Nelson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Alexis Blankenship, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.

Adena's record is now 8-2. As for Paint Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Adena is set to take on their familiar foe Piketon at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.4, the Redstreaks 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Paint Valley will face off against rival Huntington at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
