Volleyball Recap: Crow Creek Comes Up Short

Crow Creek lost against Wessington Springs back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chieftains lost 3-0 to the Spartans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, 25-10.

Wessington Springs had a senior duo take command as Logan Mohling had seven digs and five aces and Remie Roduner had 12 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Roduner. Kenzie kolousek also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Crow Creek now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Wessington Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Crow Creek has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Todd County on the 20th. As for Wessington Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Tripp-Delmont/Armour on the 22nd.
